Overview

Nashville four-piece Bully will be heading to New Zealand for the first time ever this July. They will be gracing the Whammy Bar stage on Saturday 14 July.

After crashing onto the music scene with their debut album Feels Like in 2015, this grunge pop band have gone from strength to strength ever since. Their sophomore album Loosing was released on Sub Pop Records in 2017 to the joy of Pitchfork and New York Magazine.

Bully's blend of barbed hooks underpinned by melodic pop sensibilities is evocative of Sebadoh and The Breeders. Fronted by Alicia Bognanno, her signature snarl would not have been out of place in Seattle during the '90s, but her songwriting prowess lends an intimacy often forgotten within the genre. Tickets are available at Under the Radar.
