Head chef of Hilton Sydney's flagship Glass Brasserie, Luke Mangan, will partner with Auckland's Fish Restaurant this month to celebrate local produce. Cheers to Local will see Mangan create a five-course degustation with a Kiwi spin.
Mangan will bring three of his signature dishes to the waterfront restaurant including his much-loved kingfish sashimi, crab omelette and liquorice and lime trifle. Luke will recreate all these dishes using ingredients sourced sustainably from across New Zealand. Diners can expect an evening of fresh local seafood paired with delicious Cloudy Bay wine, all whilst experiencing incredible uninterrupted views of the Waitemata harbour.
Alongside Mangan in the kitchen will be Fish Restaurant's Wallace Mua who will bring to life the restaurant's Bay of Plenty scampi carpaccio and belly of lamb. Tickets can be purchased directly from the Fish Restaurant website.
