Overview

Created for Splore, sold out in Taranaki and Hamilton, the surrealist circus cabaret Cirque Non Sequitur is coming to Q Theatre for three nights only.

Deep in the subconscious of the world is a mythical menagerie of gods, creatures, sirens and cyborgs. The Dust Palace, creator of Cirque Non Sequitir, has journeyed to the very edge of reason, the beginnings of the world and the deepest recesses of the imagination to bring you a visual feast of baroque proportion complete with a cast of dancers, aerialists, actors and acrobats who take circus-cabaret to the level of the divine.

Eve Gordon (The Almighty Johnsons), heads a cast of nine performers including the gorgeous Leda Petit and the ever-objectified Mike Edward from Shortland Street. Like stepping into a painting by Dali, it's beautiful and bizarre. Dark and sexy is counterbalanced with joy and revelry. Anything could happen and probably will.
