Overview

Originating from Canterbury, four-piece indie rock band Clap Clap Riot are set to showcase their yet-to-be released second album in a special evening's performance.

The gig is going to be held in the cosy surrounds of Lucha Lounge in Auckland. The group's sophomore album was produced and engineered by Kody Nielson. Tickets will be limited due to the intimate nature of the venue.

Clap Clap Riot have previously completed two headline tours throughout New Zealand and have toured Australia twice, which included performing at the Big Day Out and Rhythm and Vines festivals.

The group's name is derived from the applause machine designed for Top Of The Pops in the early 1980s.
