Cross Street Music Festival 2020

Overview

Located one street back from Karangahape Road, Cross Street is best known for its market hawking hand-crafted gifts, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures and nicknacks. This March, a block party will take over the strip following the theme of 'life on Mars' and with one heck of a lineup.

Auckland by way of Tauranga four-piece The Leers will take the stage at the one-day event, performing fan favourites and perhaps some of the new material they recently tracked at Los Angeles' In Flight Studios. Also performing at the event on Saturday, March 7 will be Flying Nun Records alumni The Bats, Auckland hip hop duo Church and AP, plus Edie, Cindy, Leaping Tiger and Same Name Confusion.

Between the raucous live entertainment will be support DJs Isaac Tucker and K2K to keep the dance floor humming. Rounding things off, there will be an area lined with food trucks for nourishment including Miso Ramen, Top Cafe Dumpling House, Nice Blocks, So Toasted, plus market stalls and walk-ins at Sunset Tattoo if you are tempted by some fresh ink.
