If you were wondering what to expect from Dead Studios’ upcoming event, the tag line sums it up pretty well: Music // Art // Fashion // Models // Party // Dance.
Just in time for the unveiling of their Winter collection, the Australian clothing label will present a night of all of the above at Thievery Studio on K’Rd. Art will be the main feature of the evening, as renowned artist Philip James Frost exhibits some of his work.
The Dunedin artist uses a combination of mixed media such as oil, pastel, collage and paint to present interpretations of modern culture and society. His creative talents most recently saw him relocate to Sydney as part of an artist residency for Blank Space Gallery.
