Documentary Edge Festival returns for its ninth year with 59 of the top local and international offerings. Whether you enjoy watching documentaries which are political, historical, personal or a bit offbeat, there's something for everyone here.

The festival kicks off with the inside story on New Zealand's worst air disaster and closes with a critique of religious politics in Uganda. The rest of the programme is divided into themes such as World Cinema, Sign of the Times, The American Dream, Game On, Generation Next and Culture Vultures.
