Overview

Upmarket Chinese restaurant Huami will bring together two unlikely delights later this month. Back by popular demand — the first event sold out in hours — Bottomless Dumplings with Champagne will see diners receive an endless supply of Huami dumplings, served with a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne to share. 

Tickets for the unlimited dumpling feasts on January 24 and 25 are $99 for two people or $188 for four people. Seats are extremely limited and bookings are a must. Email [email protected]. or call 09 363 6699 to book your spot. The endless supply of dumplings will be served between 5.30pm and 7.30pm only. One bottle of Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut supplied per pair booking. Additional bottles available for purchase.

Since opening in 2017 Huami has highlighted the cuisine from regional provinces across China, including Canton, Sichuan, Huaiyang and Beijing. As well as firing up crispy skin waterfowl in New Zealand's only wood-fired duck oven, hand-crafted dumplings are one of the must-try specialities at the restaurant. On the current list of dim sum there's steamed har kao truffle and prawn dumplings, shrimp and chicken shumai, boiled pork wontons and Shanghai xiao long bao soup dumplings.
