Overview
Auckland's annual winter celebration of eats, beats and artistic treats — Elemental AKL — returns this winter with over 30 free and ticketed events.
This year, the festival's much-loved music program, Elemental Nights, is back with a stacked lineup of incredible artists covering all your favourite genres including neo-soul, funk, hip hop, folk, electronica and beyond. The concert series is being staged at Auckland Town Hall from Friday, July 15 running through to Friday, July 29.
If you want to see a local act, catch Aotearoa artist Nadia Reid performing an unforgettable set with her band and a 12-piece string section from the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, July 24. Or, embrace the international acts on the lineup and be blown away by performances from bilingual neo-soul singer and rapper BIIG PIIG, American interdisciplinary artist Oliver Tree, British producer duo Jungle or electronic producer Mura Masa. You can also catch a slinky and sepia-toned performance from blissed-out Byron Bay musician Angus Stone via his Dope Lemon project.
