A few things come to mind whenever K' Road is mentioned. And First Thursday's is back to celebrate exactly that.
On July 4, from 6pm, a fusion of music, art, food and more will ignite Auckland's most colourful strip. Acknowledging community, connecting people and above all, throwing a damn good party.
Events will be announced week by week leading up to the big day. But spoken word performances from poets Dominic Hoey, Grace Taylor and Liam Jacobson have already been locked in. Music label Flying Records will also showcase up and coming local talent. Plus, Karanga Ink will share everything there is to know about indigenous tattoo designs. Just remember that K' Road won't judge. So layer up, grab some mates and get into it.
