Internet radio platform iHeartRadio NZ will take pressure off the purse strings in February, hosting four free nights of Kiwi rock music at the King's Arm Tavern.
The Free in Feb series will take place every Wednesday throughout the month, kicking off with thunderous two-piece rock band Cairo Knife Fight and pop-punk band Kitsch (February 4). Further nights across the month will include: surf rock four-piece Clap Clap Riot alongside indie darlings Cut Off Your Hands (February 11), folk artist Alexander Wildwood with disco/fuzz-pop band She's So Rad (February 18), and rock band Dictaphone Blues with pop-rock four-piece Goodshirt (February 25).
DJs from local radio station Hauraki will keep the dance floor cranking before and after the bands.
