Drinking while completing run-of-the-mill activities is one of the latest trends to sweep through New Zealand. First there was the act of downing a cold one while attempting downward dog at beer yoga, then the marriage of wine and painting, and now it's all about forming vessels with clay while nursing your own goblet of vino.

The $45 ticket price includes three balls of clay and the tools to help you craft anything from classical domesticware to rustic sculptures or the vessel for your next appearance. Participants can choose their favourite creation to be bisc and glaze-fired, ready for pickup at a later date.
