She's gotten under a lot of people's skin.

Overview

After winning the International Songwriting Competition at the tender age of 18 (beating 11,000 aspiring songwriters for the title), Ms Wigmore has gone on to release two acclaimed albums, score five New Zealand Music Awards - including Best Pop Album and Breakthrough Artist of the Year - and tour extensively across New Zealand, Australia and the United States, even appearing on the Ellen show once. Aside from all of that, her raspy voice, soul-pop hooks and tattoos aplenty gives her quite a distinct vibe which sets her apart from the rest of the New Zealand muso pack.

Recorded in her new hometown of Los Angeles (sorry ‘bout it, right?), Blood to Bone has been written and produced by Gin herself, alongside a slew of industry heavyweights including Charlie Andrew of Alt-J fame and Swedish musician and producer Joakim Ahlund. The new record dropped on Friday 26th June, with Gin heading out on the road the week after.

The Auckland gig has now been moved to the Powerstation on Wednesday 1st July, after which she’ll be gracing the stages of Wellington’s Bodega on Friday 3rd July.
