Glenfield Night Market

Overview

Night markets are popping up everywhere in Auckland. Why not go check out your local? There is now one every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in Papatoetoe, Pakuranga and Glenfield respectively. There are around 200 stalls at each, all of which sell a vast array of international cuisine.

At the Glenfield night market, which is hidden beneath the Westfield shopping centre, you'll find a variety of treats from quail egg kebabs, pumpkin and prawn fritters and Chinese pork buns to cakes on sticks, cupcakes and frozen yoghurt. This is foodie heaven and definitely a much more interesting way to end the weekend than vegging out on the couch.
