Overview

Almost five years to the day since their last performance, Gomez will make a refreshing return to the Auckland, playing the Powerstation on Tuesday October 23 2012.

Gomez visit our shores on the back of the release of their seventh studio album, Whatever's On Your Mind. This English Indie band hailing from Southport in the United Kingdom continues to possess a unique formation, with three singers and four songwriters. Gomez is made up of Ian Bell (vocals, guitar), Paul "Blackie" Blackburn (bass), Tom Gray (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Ben Ottewell (vocals, guitar) and  Olly Peacock (drums, synth).

Amongst various solo projects and the band's performance at Lollapalooza since their last show here, a few members of the band interestingly decided to record an entire album using an iPhone, entitled Keep Me Up, which is only available streaming online.
