Just like your average high tea, but with better music and some sweet sweet cheese.
Overview
Nationwide cheese subscription service Cheese Cartel sprung to life late last year. The aim of the initiative is to celebrate small-scale producers and connect hardcore cheese lovers with the humans that create the really smelly, gooey, creamy stuff.
After an inaugural tasting panel in March, the Cartel is back with another High Cheese. Think your commonplace afternoon high tea session, but with better music and some sweet sweet cheese. This is something for those who want to try some new and unique artisan cheeses, with a bunch of like-minded cheese lovers. You will try around ten cheeses, and have some matched wines, beers and non alcoholic beverages.
The High Cheese Tasting is part of Eat Love Ponsonby's Sapphire Series at Ponsonby Central.
