Fell promises to keep everything very un-PC.

Overview

A Billy T Award nominee, Jack Black comedy support act, and opening act for Jackass’ Steve O, Jarred Fell has an impressive lineup of past feats. The guy is seriously sought after, and for good reason. He combines magic and comedy in an attempt to have his audiences as equally in awe as they are in amusement.

Fell has been a much loved act in six New Zealand comedy festivals, his latest being the acclaimed show Felon, which was a huge success at Loft theatre in May this year. To give you a little taster of the kind of palette the comedian appeals to, Fell promises to keep everything very un-PC, and claims to expect his own arrest if any authorities were to watch his show. He is also all about bringing unwilling volunteers from the audience onto the stage and taking the piss out of them, but in a lighthearted way that keeps everything reasonably jovial. Still, sit at the back if you’re susceptible to stage fright.

As is the case with all good comedians, Fell is great at poking fun. He calls out races, genders, ethnic groups, religions and ages. But as is also the case with all good comedians, he never focusses the blame on one demo, and he is especially good at turning the jokes onto himself. If you’re into laughing, and you’re into watching things disappear, then the hybrid show will make for an entertaining night out.
