Since her one-take, goosebump-tingling appearance on David Dallas' 64 Bars series, Auckland rapper JessB has been on an unstoppable trajectory. Case in point: she just unveiled one of the most exciting hip hop releases of the year. To celebrate the release of her new seven-track EP, Bloom, JessB is throwing a block party with an all-female lineup.
Held at Galatos on April 6, the free party will feature JessB herself as well as performances from Ladi6, Half Queen, MC Silva, Coven, Rain & China, Maka, Native B, Creamy Mami, Katayanagi Twins, ORIKoL and Selecta Rei.
There will also be live art, tattoos by Flash City, a pop-up barbershop and snacks. Tickets are free with RSVP.
