Overview

The chaps at Brothers Beer and Juke Joint have a knack for putting on top notch events. Their Session Beer Challenge pairs session beers with sunshine and is fast becoming a cult favourite among brew-lovers. Their table tennis tourneys on the first Wednesday of every month are just as enjoyable, featuring some juicy prizes for placing players and free-flowing beer.

Naturally, we're fizzing for the new event down at the Mt Eden brewery: the Juke Joint Food Truck Festival. On the day you can expect to find Double Dutch Fries serving hand-cut fries in cones with European-inspired sauces, The Rolling Pin shifting its signature gourmet dumplings with Asian slaw, Temaki Truck with its delicious seaweed-wrapped mega sushi rolls, and Lalele Organic with creamy traditional gelato.

Throw in some tunes and a few Brothers Beers to wash it all down and you've got a top notch evening on your hands.
