Overview

Positioning itself as one of the nation's leading sporting and social affairs, the Land Rover NZ Polo Open has arguably become the southern hemisphere's most prestigious event.

Over its 40+ years, the NZ Polo Open has drawn crowds from all four corners of the country and now its guests are able to indulge in the Polo's happenings across a week of competition at Clevedon — the main event takes place on Saturday, 23 February. Attendees can expect a heightened strength of competition as the new format allows the horses more time to recover and players more time to plan strategies — yourself included.

Hosted in the Clubhouse for the first time, visitors are invited to lounge in a brand new cider garden bar. Here, not only will be music be flowing through the crowd but of course, chilled bottles of Somersby. Elsewhere, Peroni will be set up at the base of the Polo Hill, offering premium views of the on-field action, cold beer on tap and an after party.

If you're a returning participant, you know all too well that what happens on the field is almost as important as what happens off it. Fashion on the field will be held throughout the day's events, with three categories to enter. Guests have the opportunity to win, best dressed woman, best dressed man and best shoes.

And if you're looking for an extra special transportation option, Heletranz is offering direct flights to the Clevedon Polo Grounds for up to five people.
