Late Night Art
The CBD will be abuzz with late-night art-related activities.
Overview
It's one of the most exciting nights of the year in Auckland City, setting the CBD abuzz with art-related events, exhibitions and happenings. Artweek's Late Night Art is back with an even bigger line-up of events than last year. Galleries will be open late, which means that you can pop in and view some art after work — a rare opportunity. You can join a cycling or walking art tour, check out some interactive art, view live painting in action, buy some artwork by talented street artists at the Get Chuffed Street Art Auction.
The highly anticipated and internationally acclaimed exhibition Light Show with be open until 9pm at the Auckland Art Gallery, along with live music and DJs. Just across the road, the newly refurbished Khartoum Place will offer tasty morsels from The Roaming Dive, The Lucky Taco, Malaysian Carriage and Ginza Teppanyaki. 95BFM DJs will keep you entertained while you take a nourishing rest. That is one long list of stimulating activity to choose from for your Tuesday night, so venture out and have yourself a good time on October 14. Put it in your diary (yes right now).
