Lewis Road Creamery Dessert Degustation
A single serving of dessert is never enough.
Overview
A single serving of dessert is often never enough. Hundred Acre Food are champions of turning sweets into an entire meal. Founded by chef Dan Freeman, the regular pop-up patisserie creates plated art with every health fiends arch-nemesis: sugar. Previous events have included multiple courses led by peanut butter and all kinds of wizardry with ice cream.
For the next Hundred Acre Food event, Freeman will team up with artisan dairy company Lewis Road Creamery. You've probably scoured supermarkets for their chocolate milk, downed their ice cream by the punnet and perhaps even eaten their butter as is.
Held across two nights this month, the dessert degustation will feature a three course set menu. Be prepared for a new take on milk and cookies; for the nostalgic dish Freeman will work wonders with roast chocolate ganache, cookie crumb, condensed milk jelly, milk sorbet and crispy milk shards. What's more, you'll feast on Lewis Road's Winter Rose ice cream topped with fairy floss and a churro dipped in the company's infamous Whittakers chocolate milk.
