Overview

New Zealand's annual celebration of local music returns this May. Auckland War Memorial Museum will be open later than usual during NZ Music Month to host acoustic performances in the stunning Grand Foyer.

On Wednesday, 1 May and every Monday thereafter the museum will come alive from 6.30pm until 9.30pm with the sounds of Finn Andrews, Reb Fountain, Mara TK, Hollie Smith, Holly Arrowsmith, Alae, Warren Maxwell and Laughton Kora.

The 1929 cafe will be open and the bar will be serving ice-cool beverages. Tickets are free but booking is essential.
