Good news pasta lovers — Ponsonby's Morepork BBQ is expanding upon its usual menu of pulled pork and smoky brisket to serve up hefty portions of elevated mac 'n' cheese.

The eatery's dedicated Loaded Mac N Cheese Nights will take place every Wednesday night from 14 August. In addition to your regular low 'n' slow barbecue favourites, the kitchen will be serving up six kinds of cheesy macaroni. The Beefy One comes topped with smoked brisket, mushrooms, caramelized onion and blue cheese; The Porky One features the triple-threat combo of pulled pork, bacon and ham; and The Spicy One is loaded with brisket chilli, smoked jalapenos, sour cream, spring onion and fried egg.

Each loaded mac 'n' cheese dish is served as a large portion, which Morepork suggests is "definitely enough as a whole meal."

The deal will be available from 5pm. The eatery only takes bookings for groups of six or more.
