Master of Craft at Objectspace

Overview

Objectspace is gearing up to launch the sixth solo exhibition in its exciting Master of Craft series. Peter Haythornthwaite: Design Generation will be taking over from the third of March until April 29.

Haythornthwaite's impact in the design world is not only restricted to our shores, he has become a globally recognised name in industrial design. Ranging from the Zespri "Spife" to a light operated mouse and keyboard, Haythornthwaite's portfolio is expansive.

Having featured those from a variety of practical backgrounds, Master of Craft at Objectspace showcases brilliant New Zealand creatives that have made a lasting impact in their field.

Accompanying the exhibition is the launch of a 200-page publication documenting Peter's career, written by design historian Michael Smythe with additional text by Michael Barrett.
