Overview
For two decades The Classic been heralded as the home of live comedy, with all the greats gracing its stage. Now giving the 'green room' a whole new meaning, The Classic is on the hunt for the freshest comedy talent (or just someone game enough to give it a go).
Starting October 2 and every Monday for the month thereafter, The Classic will host open mic nights for budding comedians as 10+ rookies take the stage hosted by some of our most treasured funny people, including Paul Ego, Michele A'Court and Urzila Carlson.
Sure to deliver some awkward cringey moments, it's the promise of that rare comedy gold which should really entice, and if that doesn't work — it's a cheap as chips at only $5 a ticket.
Your chance to catch the next big thing, jesters of all varieties are encouraged. So from music to sketch, mime to magic — we're hoping there's at least one diamond in the rough.
