The multimillion-dollar Morningside dining precinct landed in the city-fringe suburb last November. As well as a local tavern, dumpling window and a community-minded cafe, the space boasts an expansive glasshouse with eight-metre-high oak trees growing in it.
The team behind the community space will make the most of the tree-lined events space this Saturday, 11 May with a dedicated craft beer festival. Ten craft brewers will gather from 12–5pm to put on a smorgasbord of crafty treats — there will be representatives pouring suds from Liberty, Garage Project, Deep Creek, Renaissance, Urbanaut, Behemoth, Bach Brewing, Brothers Beer, Hallertau Brewery and Sawmill.
There will be over 50 specialty brews on the day, live entertainment, finger food including bao, loaded fries and ribs, and a host of knowledgeable craft ambassadors filling not just your bellies but your minds with crafty secrets.
The $30 ticket price includes your first two beers.
