Bringing together elements of soul, jazz and hip-hop.
Overview
Renowned saxophonist and composer Nathan Haines will mark the release of his tenth solo album, 5 A Day.

Recorded in a similar analogue fashion to his last effort (The Poet’s Embrace) 5 A Day was given a a contemporary twist with beats provided by UK producer Marc Mac and New Zealand’s own hip hop mogul P-Money. Vocalists Kevin Mark Trail, Vanessa Freeman and Tama Waipara also make guest appearances.
For the album launch show Haines has assembled a live line-up including his brother Joel Haines on guitar with Kevin Mark Trail, Tama Waipara and Cherie Mathieson on vocals. P-Money will also set himself up behind the decks before and after the live show.
