Overview

Beer lovers unite.

The New Zealand Beer Festival is back for another round. 12,500 punters are expected to descend on Auckland’s Queen’s Wharf this Saturday 15 March to sample the 120 craft beers on offer.

This year the event will be split into two sessions. The midday session will run from 10am to 3pm, to emphasise master brewing classes and beer and food matching workshops – as well as giving you an excuse to have beer before midday. The evening session from 4pm to 10pm will deliver the same beer and food matching experience with the addition of live entertainment from comedians and musicians including The Black Seeds, Jetski Safari, Peter Ulrich and Beat Council.

As well as the glorious brews on offer, a line-up of the city’s best food vendors will be parked up to add to the gastronomic experience.

Costumes are welcomed with open arms and prizes awarded for the best-dressed men, women and groups.
