There’s no question that summer is on the way, and it seems to be riding on the back of a fleet of food trucks. No. 1 Queen Street is helping the arrival with a weekly rotation of mobile food vendors on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. With some of the best in the industry coming out to play, make the most of your break and head outside for lunch in the fresh air.

Thursday and Friday this week will feature a melting pot of cultures with Acho’s New York-styled Taiwanese buns prepared by Japanese chefs (try and figure that one out), and Fat J’s classic street food sliders. Joining them on Thursday is Go Go Mexico with tried and true South American cuisine; they trade places with The Tin Kitchen on Friday, who will be serving up their top-notch burgers on brioche buns.

On Saturday, the brand new Mama Tahina will bring some Mediterranean street food into the mix; Chicken Box will also be on hand with southern fried chicken, and Tiger Burger with their Korean-inspired and kimchi-filled burgers.

The trucks are open from 12pm so head on down and keep an eye out for next weeks line-up.
