Scandinavian design is synonymous with style, simplicity, functionality and sustainability. In short, they know how to make stuff that works. The one day event features key note speakers from a a variety of backgrounds and disciplines sharing knowledge and offering ideas around design thinking and processes and their relationship to business. There are opportunities to engage, network and discuss in dedicated sessions and the 'Scandinavian study table format' (round tables of ten).

Highlights include Dr. Widar Halén, the guru on the history and origins of Scandinavian Design; Sanna Annukka, printmaker and textile designer; furniture designer, Monica Förster, creator of some of the most internationally renowned objects in contemporary Swedish design today; Stina Nilimaa Wickström, leader of the design team at Volvo Construction Equipment and Torsten Valeur of David Lewis Designers.
