Overview

Your crowded summer festival schedule is about to get a whole lot better with the return of the North West Wine, Beer & Food Festival. On 9 February, music fans will be able to enjoy some sick tunes and sample offerings from local restaurants, vineyards and breweries.

The live music lineup will feature country music treasure Tami Neilson and rising indie pop star Jed Parsons. Headlining the day is Gin Wigmore in her first at-home performance since 2015. Her set is expected to feature a mixture of throwbacks and current songs from her breakout album Holy Smoke through to her newly released Ivory.

Located at The Hunting Lodge just 30 minutes north west of Auckland, it's an easy summer roadie where you can explore over a dozen local wine, beer and food vendors, including local offerings from vineyards Coopers Creek, The Hunting Lodge, Kumeu River, Soljans Estate Winery & West Brook Winery, breweries Hallertau Brewery, Colab Brewing and Liberty Brewing Company, plus dishes from food The Riverhead Tavern and The Tasting Shed.

There is a bus available to and from the lodge if you're keen to indulge in the local delicacies on display. The family friendly event includes free parking, with tickets early bird tickets starting from $57.88.
