George FM is bringing together some of New Zealand's biggest electronica artists for Off the Beaten Track: The Secret Garden Party at Alexandra Park Stables on 6 October.

Headlined by Maala, this electro-pop wunderkind will undoubtedly bring his slick, danceable hits to the floor. After originally capturing the attention of New Zealand as Evan Sinton on reality show New Zealand's Got Talent, Sinton metamorphosed into Maala, mysterious purveyor of achingly cool beats. This abrupt change in direction proved to be the right move with his debut single 'Touch' garnering 1.6 million listens and counting. Dark, edgy synth beats layered over soft, soulful vocals have become Maala's calling card and it proves to be a bewitching live performance. He is joined by the perpetually well-dressed party starters Sweet Mix Kids, perhaps the OG DJ in New Zealand Peter Urlich (of Th'Dudes and Nice n' Urlich fame) and George FM veteran General Lee.
