Overview

Never mind jetting off to the sunny shores of Croatia to get your electronic fix, the country’s pioneering bass music festival is coming to Auckland. Though instead of playing out in a beach setting, tunnels and the moat of abandoned ruins, Outlook Festival NZ is taking place at the Montecristo Room.

The festival was started as a subsidiary of Leeds bass music event SubDub and first appeared in New Zealand in 2012.

This year’s event will feature American born, Czech based electronic musician Hybris. Since surfacing in the Washington DC drum and bass scene, he has released an LP and collaborated with the likes of Noisia and Mefjus. Joining Hybris will be one of New Zealand's finest dubstep exports Truth, who now reside in the U.S. to cater to an extensive touring schedule, plus Aussie drum and bass act Safire.
