Overview

The award-winning Outsider Sounds concert series is back for 2020. This week-long festival within a festival is not only packed with incredible acts but is also absolutely free. It's held from Tuesday, 25 February until Sunday, 1 March at the iconic Auckland Town Hall.

The curators from 2019 Bob Frisbee and Matthew Crawley are back with their hand-selected acts which promise to be both weird and wonderful. They invite you to explore the transformed mezzanine on the top floor of the Town Hall and discover their curated selection of eclectic and multidisciplinary artists.

Complete with a pop-up bar, enjoy a range of acts with The Naenae Express opening the week and Phil Dadson, Paul Winstanley and Tom Nunn closing the Sunday night event. As part Auckland Live's Fringe Town program — a six-day extravaganza in line with Auckland Fringe Festival — it's sure to be a week full of wonder.
