Paint Your Date

Overview

The exercise of staying hydrated between brush strokes apparently originated in Alabama in 2004 as a way for art students to tick off both painting and drinking. In a similar vein to wine and paint evenings, Paint Your Date will see attendees put their creativity to work while sipping on a cold one — but instead of a canvas they will be splashing all the colours of the rainbow on their plus one.

This new event arrives from Kingsland special effects and costume makeup store, BodyFX, for those interested in learning a thing or two about body painting. BodyFX will provide a mirror, top-quality body paint, and everything you need to recreate a sugar skull-style makeup look on your significant other. Award-winning makeup artist Yolanda Bartram will be at the front of the class providing step-by-step instructions to follow the theme of La Calavera Catrina, Mexico's grand dame of death.

Tickets are sold separately so you'll need to buy a second ticket for your date. Tickets include your first Garage Project beer or wine.
