Auckland is home to one of the world's largest Pacific populations in the world— over 200,000 people from the islands call the City of Sails home. That's why every year Pasifika makes for one of New Zealand's most vibrant, colourful and fascinating cultural festivals.
This year marks the festival's 25th anniversary, and with over 220 performance groups and 60,000 visitors expected, it's lining up to be the biggest and best yet. Western Springs Park will take on new life, transforming into 11 different villages representing each different island and their unique culture. Expect performance, art, song and traditional food at this diverse family friendly festival.
