Ponsonby Winter Series

Overview

Four bars along one of Auckland's most iconic strips are joining forces for a travelling degustation this July. The Ponsonby Winter Series, which has been touted as a sophisticated bar hop, will roam between Ponsonby Road venues Longroom, Revelry, Mr Toms and Bedford Soda & Liquor offering four food and cocktail matches.

With only 400 metres of walking involved between all venues, diners won't be roaming for long before the next course, and the dining order is entirely in the hands of the ticket holder. Up for grabs on the night will be a flute of Veuve Cliquot paired with stout-braised beef cheeks on smoked mash at Longroom, a Yea Anana Definitely cocktail paired with soft shell tacos at Revelry, a Fuzzy Peach cocktail with vodka and lime-cured salmon tartar at Mr Toms, plus cheesecake and a Kentucky coffee at Bedford Soda & Liquor.

The travelling degustation will be held from 6pm to 11pm. The $60 ticket price includes four cocktails and four tasting dishes.
