Overview

Reb Fountain and Tom Cunliffe return to The Tuning Fork on 12 October as part of the Southern Fork Americana Fest 2018. Reb Fountain is something of a critic's darling, with her 2018 EP Hopeful and Hopeless winning a Tui for Best Country Album and its title track winning the APRA Best Country Song. Noted for her silky smooth vocals and elegant storytelling, punters can expect a raw and emotive evening.

She is joined by local folk artist Tom Cunliffe who released his latest record Template for Love earlier this year. Poppier and more universal in themes than its classic folk predecessor Howl and Whisper, Cunliffe's shift in sound does not (thankfully) extend to his songwriting. Rather, he is as pertinent and elegant as ever and the comparisons to none other than Bob Dylan remain in tact. If you're after a pensive evening with a glass of wine and some prestigious talent, then look no further. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
