RL Grime and Baauer
Featuring an EDM mashup artist and the guy behind 'Harlem Shake', this will be a night of non-stop movement.
Overview
RL Grime's first album in four years, Nova, is 15 tracks jammed with some of the hottest hip hop stars of the moment, including Miguel, Julia Michaels, Chief Keef, Ty Dolla $ign and Joji.
Merging melodic rap with rolling drum and bass beats, plummeting drops and autotune, it's a far cry from RL Grime's debut record Void that merged EDM and trap. He's bringing his hype train to Auckland on Wednesday, 7 November at the Logan Campbell Centre.
RL Grime will be joined by Baauer. Most infamous for creating the Harlem Shake song that played a starring role in the most meme-worthy dance craze of 2013, it is on record that Baauer's beats can get everyone from Anderson Cooper to Azealia Banks and the cast of The Daily Show on their feet. Merging EDM, trap, grime and hip hop, Baauer knows how to make a banger, and is the perfect opener for a night of non-stop movement. You won't want to miss these two in action.
