Overview

There’s a bunch of transport options for you to enjoy during Artweek this year, but did you ever think a Segway would be one of them? Well, now that your mind is sufficiently blown how about signing yourself up for the Devonport Arts Trail Segway Tour.

Don’t worry, we aren’t here to judge, and you won’t look like a weirdo if you’re in a Segway gang; no guarantee of keeping your street cred if you end up going around in circles though. The daily tours will include an hour-and-a-half round trip of the art installations in Devonport, with enough time to have a browse around the waterfront and a “blast in the park” to put your Segway through its paces and take it up to max speed. Yes, it’s maximum speed may only be 20km per hour, but have a think about that for a second; that’s four times faster than the average walking speed, and on a Segway your face is a lot closer to the ground.

Bookings are essential.
