Overview

You know it’s Christmas when you find yourself weeping to the final scenes of Love Actually in the middle of a packed out crowd at Silo Park’s Silo Cinema.

Keeping with the good Christmas vibes, this Friday night Silo Cinema brings to you the '90s kid classic: Home Alone 2: lost in New York. The story of a young Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) who fends off baddie burglers whilst running rampant in New York City during Christmas time.

Surrounded by the good feels of picnic weilding movie goers, this is definitely a must do to hammer in the yuletide cheer the weekend before Christmas.

The neighbouring Silo markets are a great place to grab a bite to eat before the show or to warm the body with a hot chocolate during intermission. While the film doesn’t start until 9pm, the grassy area starts filling up with eager viwers from 6pm. The tightly packed sea of blankets makes it a great place to meet new people and to catch up with friends. Bring a blanket (or three!), pack a picnic and make an evening of it.

Silo markets and bar open 5pm. Film starts 9pm
