The word 'social' brings to mind awkward school dances and Blue Light discos - luckily Silo Socials are a whole different kettle of fish. In the pleasant surrounds of Silo Park you can dance your heart out in the afternoon sun and learn some new moves while you're at it. All instructors are from the best dance academies in Auckland, lending their skills to teach you salsa, swing, tango, ballroom and various other dances.
This Sunday try out the romantic dance of tango, which originated in the ports of Buenos Aires during the 1890s. Your dance instructors from Pasión por Tango will guide you through some of the basic steps, finishing up with a professional demonstration.
