Steinlager Black Laundry

Overview

In an effort to support our boys in black during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Steinlager has repurposed the laundromat at 450 Karangahape Road to create the Black Laundry.

From 21 September to 20 October, those looking for a wardrobe change can bring along an item of clothing to dye completely monochrome. Whether it be an old sports top, a favourite t-shirt, or a rival team's jersey — your item will be returned black and stitched with an embroidered emblem.

The Steinlager Black Laundry accepts almost any garment, with cotton blends being the preferred items. Whatever you sacrifice, the commitment is irreversible.

The Steinlager Black Laundry opens on 21 September, 2 October, 6 October and 12 October. Bookings are necessary to ensure a place and all guests must be 18 or over.
