Overview

Global speaker series TEDx will return to Auckland's Aotea Centre this December 1-2, 2017. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, 20 delegates will take centre stage to inspire and challenge with unique ideas worth hearing and sharing.

The 2017 speakers cover a wide spectrum; over two days attendees will hear from a senior economic advisor at NASA, a blade runner, a Microsoft problem solver, a physics and chemistry professor who uses lasers to better sort sperm by sex for industry, the founder of a child poverty-ending lunch initiative, a Los Angeles-based improv guru and an eco-warrior who was most recently stabbed on a conservation mission in Brazil (details are still sketchy whether he'll be appearing). See the full speaker lineup here.

For those looking to make the most of the networking experience, the Social Dinner & After Party will await once the talks are done. Attendees will be treated to a five-course dinner prepared by some of Auckland's top chefs.
