Overview
Ever wanted to cut shapes on an expansive dance floor with no judgement from any other human in the room? The Dark Side is part of a growing trend of weekday dance facilities where alcohol, judgement and creepiness is checked at the door, and participants are free to spend the evening dancing without restraint to some eclectic tunes in a darkened room.
The Dark Side sessions are only $8 a pop, and are held in the darkened Grey Lynn Library Hall every Monday as well as on some other special dates (see their Facebook page for more information).
Make sure you arrive ten minutes before the session time to avoid being locked out as the doors of the Grey Lynn Library Hall automatically lock when they close and no one can hear the knocking once the music starts.
