Overview

"We're not fucking around," is the phrase bassist and vocalist Rudolf de Borst used to describe The Datsuns brand new, riff-heavy LP Deep Sleep. Throughout their career, the energetic rock n' roll band have recorded six full-length albums, played at the biggest festivals on earth and were even once hailed by NME as the best live band in the world. Though, one thing they've never done is fuck around.

With members now based in Stockholm, London, Auckland, and Wellington, getting together is a little more of a struggle than their days of growing up together in Cambridge.

After a 'hectic' Aussie tour schedule that includes 9 gigs in 11 days, The Datsuns will return home to present their brand new recording in a string of shows across the country.  They play at the Kings Arms Tavern in Auckland on December 18. Pre-sales are currently sold out but there will be a small amount of door sales available on the night.
