On any given night, Karangahape Road isn't complete without its fair share of debauchery, underground music and alternative art. However, September brings an event that takes things to a whole new level.

Now in its sixth year, The Experiment is the culmination of the country's best alternative music and art scenes, from performers and installation artists to painters and bands. Head to The Studio and let loose, for one night only, and experiment with your mind, body and soul.

Presented by Monster Valley, spend the night exploring their elusive labyrinth designed to tease the mind as you experience New Zealand's melting pot of alternative arts. Expect psychiatric installations, live creations, and music to mash your insides.
