Overview

Property developers are often considered the worst enemy of music, tearing down beloved venues left, right and centre to make room for unsightly housing blocks. In a strange instance of role reversal, boutique apartment developers Love & Co. will be the ones hosting the concert.

To mark the development of a new lifestyle residence in the CBD and as part of their mission to "revitalize the civic heart of Auckland city", the organisation will treat the public to a free concert in Aotea Square. Held on April 8, the concert will feature Kiwi group The Jordan Luck Band with Ricky Ball of Hello Sailor fame. Expect iconic tunes like 'Why Does Love', 'Victoria', 'Who Loves Who The Most', 'I'll Sat Goodbye' and a whole bunch of homegrown meat and potatoes tracks.

Auckland food trucks will be onsite to nourish the masses and music kicks off from 5.15pm.
