Overview

Returning for the third time, the much anticipated NZ International Fraud Film Festival will be back in Auckland this November. Exploring the themes of scamming, corruption, tax evasion and art forgery, this year's festival will be bigger and better than ever.

With the aim to raise awareness about fraud and create discussions on how we can prevent it, the NZ International Fraud Film Festival delivers two full days of films and documentaries, live discussions and debates.

Held from 13 to 14 November, the first day of the festival is a full-day session with a strong focus on business. However, on Thursday, tickets to movies and panel sessions can be purchased individually. With several films celebrating their premieres at the festival, there will be plenty of screenings to choose from. Catch a showing of The Kleptocrats, a documentary on Malaysia's $4.5 billion IMDB corruption case. Or The Panama Papers, a film delving into the global dirty money scandal, directed by Alex Winter.
